OUR MISSION

The USA Bobsled ⋆ Skeleton Foundation was established to raise funds to support the needs of USA Bobsled Skeleton (USABS) athletes, as they work to achieve sustained competitive excellence in Olympic competition, and to promote and grow the sports of bobsled and skeleton in the United States—currently the most racially diverse of all Winter Olympic sports. 

OUR CHALLENGE

Our National team depends on the support of individuals and corporations to fund their effort. The USA Bobsled ⋆ Skeleton Foundation is focused on encouraging individuals to provide that support. Donations to the Foundation directly support the efforts of our athletes including supporting their training, equipment and competition needs.

  • USABS does more with less

    With one of the smallest budgets of the USA winter sports, we bring home more Olympic medals for our size than any other USA Olympic Team

  • We put work before reward

    This is not about seeking fame and fortune. Some of our athletes have slept in cars for the opportunity to train at an Olympic Training Center.

  • We receive no government funding

    Unlike many teams from the nations we compete against, our athletes receive none of your tax dollars, nor continuous government funding.

  • We're looking toward the future

    Our Board focuses on helping support the next generation of Olympians which is essential for our sports’ future viability and success on the world's stage

    We have set a lofty goal—to be the best in the world—and pursue it with every subatomic particle of our being, all while proudly wearing USA on our backs.
